What You'll Need:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Valid SLP license for the state of Pennsylvania
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working with school-aged children or in school settings
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse educational team
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
- Provide direct therapy services within the school environment, both individually and in groups
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Communicate routinely with teachers, staff, and parents, providing education and resources as needed
- Serve various schools across the county, responding to district needs with flexibility and professionalism
