Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Petaluma, CA
Step into a contract role providing essential speech-language services in a dynamic school setting near Petaluma, CA. This opportunity spans the full 2026-2027 school year, starting August 12th and continuing through June 2027. As a valued speech-language professional, you’ll support students across multiple school sites, each offering unique and rewarding experiences.
Two full-time positions are available. One role focuses on a middle school caseload, serving students in three specialized day classes—two mild/moderate and one extensive support needs—as well as students receiving RSP services or enrolled in general education. The other position covers two elementary schools: one serving both extensive support needs (grades TK-5) and general education students, and the other focused primarily on general education placement.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Active California SLP License required
- PPS Credential
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school-based SLP
- Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and SLPA professionals with school or healthcare backgrounds
- Previous experience with mild/moderate and/or extensive support needs populations is highly valued
- Ability to work onsite, full-time (35 hours/week) throughout the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services per IEPs for assigned caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families
- Provide therapy sessions individually or in groups as needed
- Support students in both general and special education settings across multiple campuses
