Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to tailor communication approaches for diverse learning needs
- Comfortable working with IEP teams, families, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs and academic goals
- Conduct therapy sessions—both individual and group—to support students’ communication progress
- Collaborate actively with classroom teachers, parents, and school counselors to build holistic support for each student
- Maintain thorough service and progress records aligned with district and state requirements
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment
