Speech Language Pathologist in Pelham, AL

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to education and services for children with disabilities
- Knowledge of pediatric and adolescent development—both cognitive and physical—as it relates to speech, language, and communication
- Familiarity with a variety of medical and psychological diagnostic tools related to assessing developmental needs
- Ability to interpret and analyze data and policy to meet program requirements
- Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator Certification
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA)
- ABSESPA licensure
