What We’re Looking For:
- Expertise in school-based speech-language pathology and a deep understanding of the laws and regulations surrounding the education of children with disabilities
- Strong grasp of pediatric and adolescent development, both cognitive and physical, and experience working with medical and psychological assessment tools relevant to special education
- Familiarity with terminology related to physical and learning disabilities
- Ability to compile, analyze, and interpret data and regulatory information to inform best practices
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Effective communication skills in both written and oral formats
Required Qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution
- Valid Professional Educator Certification
Preferred Credentials:
- ASHA Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- ABSESPA Licensure
In this position, you will assess students' needs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and provide direct services tailored to student goals and IEPs.
