Seeking a dedicated professional with:
- Rhode Island SLP licensure (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience providing pediatric speech-language services, particularly in school settings
- Strong understanding of K-12 developmental and communication needs
- Skills in assessment, creating individualized education plans, and implementing therapy for diverse student populations
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting screenings and comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Developing and executing tailored intervention plans to support IEP goals
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to foster an inclusive and communicative learning environment
- Documenting student progress, maintaining accurate records, and participating in IEP meetings
- Serving as a resource for staff and families regarding speech-language development
