Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated expertise working with pediatric populations, especially within school settings
- Strong assessment, documentation, and intervention planning skills
- Ability to tailor therapy to meet students’ individual educational and developmental needs
- Clear communication skills and professionalism in collaborating with staff, families, and administrators
- Experience in both healthcare and school-based SLP settings is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and specialists to integrate therapy into the classroom
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant student records and documentation
- Offer education and support to families on communication strategies
