Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Elizabeth, NJ
Exciting contract opportunities are available for enthusiastic and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) looking to make a difference in elementary school settings. Multiple full-time SLP positions are open for a 12-week period beginning September 2026, perfect for professionals interested in supporting students through a rewarding maternity leave assignment.
In these roles, you’ll work onsite at vibrant elementary schools serving diverse student populations, including children with high Autism and preschool needs across grades K-5. Enjoy the opportunity to collaborate within dedicated teams and make a meaningful impact during the crucial fall semester.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active New Jersey SLP License
- Valid NJ SLS (Speech-Language Specialist) Certification
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship is a plus; candidates currently in their CF year are considered, provided external supervision is arranged
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience with high-needs populations, especially Autism and early childhood, is highly desirable
- SLPAs will not be considered for these roles
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy services to elementary and preschool students
- Assessing, diagnosing, and developing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintaining thorough, compliant documentation for student records
- Contributing expertise in IEP meetings and team consultations
You’ll benefit from working fully onsite for 35+ hours each week in supportive, engaging school communities. Assignments are housed at elementary schools dedicated to serving both Autism and preschool populations, with a third location to be determined.
