School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Edison, New Jersey
Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding experience supporting students for 12 weeks during the fall of 2026. This full-time, onsite contract assignment offers the chance to make a genuine impact in welcoming and inclusive elementary school settings.
You’ll work 35+ hours per week, starting in September, at engaging locations serving diverse K-5th grade populations, including preschools and programs with a strong focus on autism support. Whether you’re a seasoned SLP with your CCCs or a Clinical Fellow with your own external supervision, your expertise and compassion are valued here (please note, SLPAs are not permitted and district supervision is unavailable for CFs).
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey SLP License and NJ SLS Certification (required)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCCs preferred; CFs with outside supervision considered
- Previous experience with preschool or autistic populations a plus
- Passion for collaborative work, excellent communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy and intervention for elementary students (preschool–grade 5) with a variety of speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, IEPs, and goals
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports as required
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
