What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification from ASHA
- Active state SLP licensure (Texas)
- Previous experience working with K-12 or pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to tailor interventions for a diverse elementary student population
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, primarily at the elementary level, addressing a variety of communication needs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to establish individualized student goals
- Develop and implement effective intervention plans in collaboration with other educators and support staff
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and meet all required documentation standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for staff and families to support language and communication development
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive, collaborative school environment
