- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior background in school-based services is an advantage
- Proficiency with AAC devices
- Solid understanding of IEPs and progress monitoring
In this role, you will:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric populations
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Work closely with caregivers, families, and a multidisciplinary team of PTs, SLPAs, and OTs to maximize student outcomes
- Track and communicate patient progress regularly
- Ensure accurate and thorough recordkeeping and documentation
