Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders
- Current Ohio SLP licensure in good standing
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting or with K-12 students
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive assessments and conduct formal evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students
- Develop tailored treatment plans to meet each student’s communication needs
- Deliver engaging speech-language therapy to individuals and groups
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the ongoing education planning process
- Serve as a resource to teachers and families, providing guidance and support on communication strategies
