Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders required
- Active Ohio SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility preferred
- Previous experience delivering speech and language services in a school setting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Collaborative spirit and passion for working with children
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech and language disorders among students
- Design and execute tailored intervention plans to address individual needs
- Provide therapy services one-on-one and in group settings
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, special educators, and other support staff to develop and implement IEPs
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student achievement and support strategies
