Make a meaningful impact in education working as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic years. This full-time contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 2026, includes a summer session, and extends through the entire 2026–2027 school year. Serving Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade across two nearby school sites, this position enables you to provide vital communication support to a diverse caseload of elementary students.

Utilize your clinical expertise to address a variety of needs, including mild articulation challenges, language deficits spanning mild to moderate disabilities, and some students using AAC. Bring your passion for pediatric speech therapy to an engaging school-based setting that values collaboration, growth, and positive student outcomes.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Recent experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
  • Strong background in assessment, intervention, and documentation for a range of speech and language disorders
  • Comfort with caseload management across multiple school sites
  • Familiarity with AAC systems and approaches
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy to students in TK–6th grade, addressing individual IEP needs
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, create therapy plans, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and support personnel
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals
  • Adjust therapy approaches to fit varied disabilities, including implementation of AAC when needed
