Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) required
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapeutic intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students in a variety of school environments
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records of evaluations, progress notes, and IEP documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making
- Stay current on best practices, compliance, and professional standards for speech-language pathologists
