Qualifications:
- Active CA SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working within California school settings required
- Proven understanding of IEP development and implementation for school-aged children
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide evidence-based therapy in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Commitment to onsite work for the duration of the contract
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create and implement effective intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy to students with a variety of communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and maintain accurate records
- Support the professional learning community within the school environment
- Serve as a resource for families, offering guidance and support regarding communication strategies
