Qualifications:
- Valid SLP - CCC certification is required
- Possess current state licensure to practice as an SLP in California
- Previous hands-on experience in California schools is essential
- Strong ability to develop and execute IEPs, conduct assessments, and maintain thorough documentation
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
- Passion for supporting student development in a school setting
- Willingness to work onsite—remote options are not available for this role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Evaluate students’ communication abilities and identify areas of need
- Develop individualized plans through collaboration with staff, parents, and caregivers
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Offer support and resources to teachers and families to reinforce progress outside of therapy sessions
