Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC credential required
- Current California licensure and certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in California schools is essential
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering direct and consultative services in educational settings
- Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational skills, documentation accuracy, and time management
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for K-12 students with speech and language needs
- Create and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain clear, timely records and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Communicate effectively with caregivers and educators, offering progress updates and useful strategies
