Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and special education guidelines
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student progress and goal setting
- Provide therapy services to students individually and in small groups, adapting strategies as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely records of services, assessments, and student progress
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and caregivers for optimal classroom integration
