School Speech Language Pathologist - Murrieta, California
Step into an impactful role as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in a school setting from April 6th through June 5th. This contract opportunity offers an engaging, rewarding experience working directly with young learners and collaborating with educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure for the state
- Prior experience serving elementary-aged students in a school environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage and prioritize a dynamic caseload
- Commitment to fostering student growth and positive learning outcomes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to the needs of each child in your elementary caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to integrate speech goals within the educational setting
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, intervention strategies, and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in planning for student success
- Offer guidance to staff on communication strategies that enhance student participation
