Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Hickory, North Carolina
Step into an impactful speech-language pathology role supporting elementary and preschoolers for the 2026-27 academic year. Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status
- Experience in K-12 school, pediatric, or healthcare settings appreciated
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Skilled in documentation and compliance systems (experience with ECATS & Medicaid preferred)
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services for elementary and preschool children
- Perform evaluations and develop tailored intervention plans
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings with a multidisciplinary team
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records in ECATS and submit Medicaid billing
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
