Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in the state of assignment
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred, but Clinical Fellows considered
- Prior experience working in K-12 educational settings is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Passion for supporting diverse student populations and collaborating with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students of varying ages and needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals and state guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in groups, tracking progress to achieve meaningful outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate strategies in the classroom
- Engage in family education to maximize therapy effectiveness and student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings and professional development
