Speech Language Pathologist in Binghamton, NY

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in school environments is advantageous
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and comply with relevant regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech-language services
- Design and implement therapy plans tailored to students' IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster optimal student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely records of progress and assessment data
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development sessions
- Guide teachers and family members in strategies to support communication development
