Speech Language Pathologist in Osseo, MN
Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to make an impact in a K-5 school environment on a contract basis. Beginning in mid-December and continuing through the end of April, this role supports elementary students’ communication needs while contributing to a positive learning experience.
As an SLP-CCC, you will provide direct therapy, evaluations, and collaborate with educators and families. In addition, you will offer supervision and guidance to a Tier 2 SLP, sharing your expertise and helping foster growth in early-career professionals. Your work will help students achieve their full potential and create a supportive, inclusive atmosphere.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- School-based experience with elementary (K-5) students preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring speech-language pathologists is highly valued
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable providing supervision for a Tier 2 SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students in grades K-5
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Communicate progress and strategies with families and educators
- Maintain timely documentation and comply with state and district guidelines
- Supervise and support a Tier 2 SLP as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
