We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract-to-hire position, working full-time from August 20, 2026, to October 9, 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to collaborate with young learners, supporting them as they develop critical communication skills through individualized and small-group sessions.
What we’re looking for:
- Minnesota SLP license required (ASHA CCC or strong CFY candidates encouraged)
- Experience or interest in working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation for language, articulation, and fluency
- Comfortable managing small caseloads (both 1:1 and small groups)
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students, both one-on-one and in groups of 2–3
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans for language, articulation, and fluency
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student progress
- Maintain compliant and timely session notes and records
- Engage in case conferences or virtual meetings as required
- Adapt services as needed based on student response and team input
This position runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm, providing a consistent daytime schedule throughout the assignment. The role is designed for those looking to make a difference in children’s lives while experiencing the unique rewards of serving a vibrant elementary school community.
