Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology for school-based practice.
- Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills with ability to communicate professionally with teachers, staff, and families.
- Solid organizational abilities for managing caseloads, documentation, and progress monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct therapy and support for students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ success in the classroom.
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with families about student goals and achievements.
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development activities as needed.
