Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families
- Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy, both individually and in group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to student planning
- Document progress, maintain records, and communicate effectively with team members and families
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to generalize skills across classroom settings
