Desired Skills and Experience:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Experience, training, or strong interest in serving pediatric clients, especially within the school setting
  • Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Positive, collaborative approach with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable managing a moderate caseload and adapting to a dynamic school environment
  • Prior experience with adolescent populations is especially valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, aligning with IEP goals
  • Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to evaluations for eligibility and ongoing needs
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Maintain clear, compliant documentation and progress reporting in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Attend IEP meetings and participate in team-based problem solving
