School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Osceola, Missouri
Step into a rewarding opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services to students K-12 in a dynamic and supportive contract position. This role is designed for a passionate, licensed SLP eager to make an impact in students' lives while covering a leave from ASAP through the first week of November (12 weeks). With a commitment of just two days per week (no Mondays!), this assignment provides the ideal balance of professional engagement and personal flexibility.
You’ll primarily work with an elementary-focused caseload, supporting students in developing essential communication skills. Responsibilities include both in-person and teletherapy service delivery, collaborating with educators, and monitoring progress to ensure students thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing SLP services in school settings preferred
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms and in-person sessions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience or willingness to work with K-12-aged children, with an emphasis on elementary students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and document findings
- Develop individualized treatment plans and progress reports
- Engage with teachers, families, and school teams to support student success
- Utilize both on-site and teletherapy modalities
