Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain, as required
- Experience serving elementary-age students in a school-based setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping children achieve communication goals
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech-language therapy sessions to a caseload of 35 elementary students
- Conduct assessments, complete evaluations, and interpret results for educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy with classroom instruction
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEP goals, adjusting approaches as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation consistent with school and state guidelines
- Provide guidance and support to classroom staff regarding communication strategies
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and multi-disciplinary teams
