Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially at the elementary level, is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary school students across a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on IEP development and student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation per school and regulatory requirements
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and families regarding individualized strategies for student success
