What you'll bring:
- Valid Florida Dept of Health licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in pediatric and elementary school settings
- Strong background in speech and language assessment, therapy, and documentation
- Preferred: Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and implementing communication technology
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations for students with varied needs
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Delivering direct therapy and consultations to elementary students onsite, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week)
- Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
- Maintaining thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
- Supporting students in accessing curriculum through targeted communication strategies
