Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP
- CCC-SLP credential or willingness to complete the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based and/or pediatric settings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse student populations
- Strong organizational skills to manage assessments, paperwork, and progress tracking
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with varying needs
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and document findings
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Monitor and report student progress, updating documentation as required
- Adapt interventions to ensure students’ success and growth in their educational environment
- Provide guidance and support for classroom accommodations
