Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility in process)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates accepted
- Background in pediatric and/or school-based therapy preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic practices and continuous professional growth
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct and consultative services for students
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing specific expertise and recommendations
- Address communication, articulation, language, and social-pragmatic needs in one-on-one and group settings
- Monitor progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Guide, mentor, or support SLP-CFY colleagues, if applicable
- Communicate closely with families and staff to maximize student outcomes
