Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong CFY candidates considered
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Skilled in case management, IEP development, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, progress reports, and attendance
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
- Stay current with best practices and regulatory guidelines for school-based SLP services
