School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Orland Park, Illinois

Qualifications & Credentials:
- Current Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working with students, families, and educational staff
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement targeted interventions
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student growth
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide consultation on classroom strategies to facilitate student communication
