- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school-based environments, with knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Comfortable with onsite, face-to-face therapy delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students across various age groups and needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and interpret evaluation data to help identify students needing intervention
- Maintain accurate records and document sessions in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Serve as a resource to educational staff and families regarding speech-language issues
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute proactively to student support teams
