Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure, in Kansas
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFs will be considered
- Prior school-based experience is desirable, but not required
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Must be able to work full-time hours onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and interventions
- Partner with educational staff and parents to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teaming
