Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Current license in Speech-Language Pathology as required by the state
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students across various grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary educational teams
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress reports, and therapy sessions
- Serve as an educational resource, providing staff and family trainings or consultations as needed
- Attend required meetings, including IEP, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
