Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Orland Park, IL

Your expertise in the caseload model will empower you to deliver direct therapy sessions, conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, and play a crucial role in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Teletherapy skills are highly valued, offering new dimensions for student engagement.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP-CCC
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience or interest in school-based settings, pediatrics, and serving diverse student needs
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms and blended service delivery models
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
- Excellent collaboration, documentation, and communication abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with mild to moderate communication disorders
- Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments and contribute to eligibility decisions
- Participate and assist in IEP meetings with educators and families
- Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
