Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold active Illinois SLP-CCC and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience in a school setting preferred; strong candidates may include SLP-Cs with relevant school-based or healthcare backgrounds
- Proficient in providing direct therapy to pediatric populations
- Comfortable managing caseloads and collaborating with educational teams on IEP processes
- Adaptable to both in-person and teletherapy modalities
- New graduates (CFY) passionate about school-based speech-language pathology are encouraged to showcase their skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy aligned with student needs
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations within the school environment
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Engage with parents, teachers, and staff to promote student communication success
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
