The primary caseload is with preschoolers, with some responsibilities extending through 2nd grade. The schedule is conveniently set within school hours, totaling 33.75 hours per week from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM, using a caseload service delivery model.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid IL SLP-CCC certification required
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Prior experience with school-based SLP services, especially in early childhood and lower elementary
  • Skilled in direct therapy, student assessments, and IEP development
  • Competency in teletherapy for remote service as needed
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) with relevant credentials
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Comfortable adapting to caseload model workflow

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy and intervention services to assigned students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to support special education eligibility and planning
  • Develop, write, and adjust IEP goals and documentation in collaboration with educational teams and families
  • Participate in team meetings, consultations, and parent communications
  • Maintain accurate records and meet established deadlines
  • Flexibly support both in-person and potential teletherapy delivery
