Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Chicago, IL

This contract opportunity offers an impactful role in the greater Chicago area, with two leave coverage assignments: August through November and October through January. Work 33.75 hours per week on a caseload model, delivering a full suite of services including direct therapy, assessments, evaluations, and IEP development.
Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current IL SLP-CCC certification
- Valid IL PEL (Professional Educator License)
- Experience in school-based settings or healthcare environments
- Proficient with pediatric populations
- Teletherapy skills, CFY candidates, and seasoned professionals all encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in Pre-K through 8th grade
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to inform service planning
- Develop, monitor, and document IEP goals for each student on your caseload
- Actively collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain up-to-date records and accurate service notes to comply with school protocols
- Utilize teletherapy platforms for remote services when needed
