Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a closely related field
- Current Illinois licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Experience delivering speech and language services in a school environment is preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and individualized instruction
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Your Role:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy to elementary students with varied needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide written reports, progress updates, and maintain accurate records
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents
- Contribute to RTI/MTSS processes and classroom strategies as needed
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school events to promote student success
