You'll provide in-person speech-language services, collaborating closely with dedicated educational teams. Caseloads range from elementary to high school populations, including specialized ISC programs, allowing you to apply your expertise to diverse communication needs in both individual and group settings.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Oregon state license from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for helping students reach their full potential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy to students across multiple campuses: Mountainside HS, Findley Elementary, and ISC programs (William Walker, Beaverton HS, Southridge HS)
- Document therapy sessions and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional input to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support, resources, and guidance to families and staff
- Manage caseloads effectively—with options to combine part-time assignments into a full-time role, with additional support for higher caseloads
Available positions vary in hours:
- .5 FTE at Mountainside HS
- .6 FTE at Findley Elementary
- Option to combine for a 1.0 FTE assignment
- ISC program position is 1.0 FTE (for a designated period)
