School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Gresham, Oregon
Step into a fulfilling opportunity providing speech-language pathology support to students across multiple schools in the Portland area. This contract position will engage you in meaningful work at a combination of campuses, including high school and elementary settings, along with specialized ISC programs. Work with a diverse student population, collaborating closely with school teams and internal support staff to impact communication skills and foster academic success.
Start as soon as possible with assignments scheduled through June, with flexible options available—choose a part-time role at either Mountainside High School or Findley Elementary, or combine both for a full-time schedule. Additionally, provide full-time services for ISC programs across several sites for a defined time frame this spring.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Oregon licensure from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Adaptable, skilled in both individual and group interventions
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families for holistic student care
- Provide accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Support students across multiple school environments and age groups
