Step into an impactful school-based contract opportunity, utilizing your expertise as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to support students across a vibrant district. This full-time role offers a consistent weekly schedule—35 hours, Monday through Friday from 8:15AM to 3:15PM—with the chance to start as soon as possible and extend through June 25, 2027. You’ll make a difference district-wide, collaborating with multiple teams and meeting diverse student needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid NJ SLP licensure (CCC credentials required)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based SLP roles
- Comfortable servicing a varied district-wide caseload
- Experience administering assessments, evaluations, and providing direct services
- Ability to provide personal testing materials as required by the district
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Reliable transportation and readiness for district travel (must be within a manageable commute)
- Ability to meet onboarding requirements, including TB testing, physical, and fingerprint clearance
- This position does not offer supervision for CF or SLPA candidates, so only fully licensed SLP-CCCs considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage comprehensive caseloads across the district, providing individualized interventions
- Conduct mandated testing, assessments, and evaluations independently
- Document progress, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate consistently with families, staff, and administrators
- Ensure timely, accurate record-keeping and compliance with district standards
- Engage in brief 15-minute interviews as part of the streamlined hiring process
