Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services across an entire district. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, working from 8:15AM to 3:15PM, totaling 35 hours each week. With a start date as soon as possible and a commitment through June 25, 2027, you’ll have the chance to make a significant difference for students needing ongoing speech and language support.
Key Qualifications:
- Active NJ SLP licensure (CCC required)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting
- Ability to independently serve a diverse, district-wide caseload
- Comfortable collaborating with staff throughout a large district environment
- Willingness and preparedness to provide your own testing materials for evaluations and assessments
- Capable of handling all aspects of speech-language evaluations, direct therapy, and progress documentation
- No CF or SLPA candidates at this time due to supervision limitations
- Reliable transportation and a manageable commute are essential
Duties Include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy and related services to students with a range of needs
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations as required
- Developing individualized treatment plans and maintaining progress records
- Collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care
- Meeting required onboarding steps: TB test, physical exam, agency and district fingerprints
