School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Edison, New Jersey

You'll have the autonomy to use your own testing materials, and the chance to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families across the district. This role requires familiarity with the school setting—you’ll need to be confident navigating both the day-to-day responsibilities and the unique culture of the district.
Qualifications and Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active NJ SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) mandatory
- Demonstrated experience in school-based SLP service delivery
- Ability to independently manage and provide services for a diverse caseload
- Comfortable conducting testing, completing evaluations and assessments
- Must provide own testing materials
- Reliable transportation and willingness to commute are essential
- TB test, physical, and fingerprinting required for onboarding
- Candidates currently in CF or SLPA roles are not eligible due to supervision constraints
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive therapy services district-wide
- Complete thorough assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the district
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school standards
