Step into a rewarding opportunity providing speech-language pathology services within a forward-thinking educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position offers direct, onsite engagement with students in a supportive, collaborative setting. Four positions are available across high school, middle school, and elementary school levels, making it ideal for individuals invested in making a broad impact.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring, in alignment with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to ensure best practices in student support
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams by sharing recommendations and providing expertise on communication needs within the educational context
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based consultation
  • Educate staff and families on communication strategies and interventions

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Washington State SLP license, or willingness to obtain one prior to the start date
  • Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements through OSPI, or willingness to do so
  • Previous experience within a school setting strongly preferred
  • Passion for onsite, hands-on intervention (strictly no virtual or remote placements)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
