Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Olympia, WA

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Washington State SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but accepting CFY applicants
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-based populations
- Comfortable working with PreK-12 age groups and varying communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques and maintain detailed documentation
- SLPA candidates with relevant credentials are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy sessions to students according to IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
- Collaborate and consult with teachers, parents, and other educational staff
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and district policies
- Document therapy activities, progress notes, and evaluations in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities
