Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Olean, NY

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in New York
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse caseloads and learning needs
- Commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy services to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address students’ needs
- Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress notes, and IEPs
- Participate in student support team meetings and IEP development
- Utilize onsite teaching assistant support to implement therapy plans effectively
- Adapt interventions across a varied caseload to support each child’s academic and personal goals
