Key Qualifications:
- Valid, current CA Certification with SLP-CCC required
- Professional experience in school settings preferred
- Fluent Spanish speaker—essential for effective communication with students and families
- Strong collaboration skills and commitment to working onsite
- Knowledge of school-based therapy processes and caseload management
Your Role Will Include:
- Delivering speech-language services for students from kindergarten through eighth grade
- Evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with school staff, existing SLPs, and SLPAs to maximize student success
- Contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings and student progress reports
- Supporting students in a behavior program, primarily with mild to moderate needs
- Maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with district requirements
This position runs through June 11th, with the potential for summer extension. You’ll work onsite, Monday through Friday, for 37.5 hours per week—ample opportunity to build strong connections with your students and colleagues.
